Capabilities We Provide Access To

  • CNC machining of valve bodies, manifolds, end caps, mounts, and compressor brackets
  • Sheet metal: laser cutting, turret punching, forming of ducts, plenums, and housings
  • Copper/brass tube cutting, bending, swaging, flare & braze prep; fin tube integration
  • TIG welding & brazing for leak-tight assemblies; fixture-controlled repeatability
  • Leak & pressure testing to spec with documented results; gauge R&R on request
  • Surface finishing & part marking coordination (powder coat, plating, passivation)
  • Inspection packages: CMM/vision, material certs, test records, CoC/traceability

DFM & Standards Tips

  • Call out functional leak rate/pressure requirements and medium (air/nitrogen/helium) — “as tight as possible” drives cost.
  • Use standard tube OD/wall sizes and bend radii; avoid tight back-to-back bends where heat input is constrained.
  • Design braze joints with proper capillary gap (e.g., ~0.002–0.005″ for Cu-to-Cu) and include accessible fillet inspection.
  • For sheet metal, consolidate bends and keep consistent gauges; add hems/flanges for stiffness instead of extra ribs when possible.
  • Break sharp edges on gasket grooves and sealing faces (e.g., 0.2–0.3 mm) to protect elastomers and ease assembly.
  • Specify coatings based on environment (corrosion class, wash-down, UV) and note masked/ground points for electrical bonding.

We’ll review your model/drawing, testing requirements, and coating specs, then confirm achievable tolerances and the right routing (in-house or partner) before kickoff.

HVAC & Refrigeration FAQs

Is this manufactured in-house?

Some HVAC/R parts are produced at our Ontario facility; others are fulfilled through vetted Canadian partners. We coordinate quoting, communication, QA, and logistics end-to-end.

Can you provide leak and pressure test documentation?

Yes. We can record pressure, hold time, and acceptable leak rate per your spec and include results in your documentation package.

What materials do you support?

Copper, brass, aluminum, stainless (304/316), galvanized and mild steel — specified by environment and performance needs.

What tolerances are realistic?

As a baseline: machined metals ±0.001–0.002″ on critical features; formed sheet ±0.005–0.010″. Tighter limits may be achievable after engineering review.

How do I scope my RFQ?

Share CAD + PDF with GD&T, refrigerant/medium, test requirements (leak rate/pressure/hold), finish specs, quantities, and schedule. Start your HVAC/R quote — include leak/pressure spec, finish, documentation list, and schedule.
