Quality review and inspection planning

Define inspection, documentation, and acceptance requirements before a project commitment is made.

  • Inspection requirements

State the dimensions, tolerances, datums, sampling, measurement methods, or acceptance criteria that matter to the project.

  • Documentation scope

Identify required inspection records, material records, certificates, or other project documents before quoting.

  • Project confirmation

Available methods, responsibilities, timing, and deliverables are confirmed for the individual project.

  • Changes and nonconformance

Substitutions, deviations, rework, and disposition decisions require the applicable review and authorization.

Confirm the quality plan for the project

Pearson reviews quality expectations as part of each manufacturing request. Inspection methods, documentation, tolerances, and fulfillment responsibilities depend on the part, the applicable requirements, and the approved project route. This page does not imply a certification, inspection method, or report package for every project.

Start with the drawing

Include the latest drawing or model revision and identify critical features, tolerances, datum references, finishes, and any required inspection stage. Pearson will clarify open items during quote review.

Name the records you need

If the project needs material records, inspection results, certificates, or other supporting documents, list them in the request. Availability and the exact delivery package are confirmed before the job proceeds.

Have inspection or documentation requirements?

Include them with the quote request so Pearson can review the applicable method, records, and acceptance criteria for the project.
